If you are diabetic, it is important for us to know which medicine you are taking. In an additional list you will find the medicines that you should stop taking (as circumstances require).

We also need laboratory values about the renal function and the thyroid (CT) for the examinations that require an injection of contrast medium. These can be supplied by family doctor. We will tell you if you need to bring this information or if medicines have to be discontinued when making the appointment.. For treatment of spinal complaints (facet joint blockade therapy and periradicular therapy) the patient will have to discontinue any blood thinning   medicine that thins the blood, e.g. Marcumar or acetylsalicylic acid (e.g. Aspirin) after consultation with your family doctor.
