Digital x-ray

In our practice we still x-ray conventionally but use digital x-ray. The conventional x-ray-technique remains, despite the new special examinations such as computer- or magnetic resonance therapy, still an important basis examination for the diagnosis of bone-, joint-, lung-, heart- or kidney diseases.

The use of Digital x-ray has numerous advantages i. Previously, it was necessary to develop the x-ray picture. With digital x-rays,pictures are available directly after the examination on the computer screen. They can be analysed digitally on the computer without the need for repetition of the examination. The pictures cannot be lost. No chemicals are necessary for the development of the pictures. Another advantage is that minimal amount of space is needed for storage . Furthermore  digital x-ray pictures usually need less radiation depending on the system, whereby the patient is exposed to less radiation.
